- Visiting the site to assess its characteristics, topography, accessibility and proximity to other development(s).
- Investigating the planning policies which apply within the locality and identify those which have a bearing on its development.
- Meeting with officers from the relevant planning authority and where appropriate, officers representing highways, historic buildings and/or archaeology and other specialist staff.
- Discussing emerging issues with, where relevant, English Heritage, English Nature, amenity societies, Local Strategic Partnerships and Parish Councils.
- Act as your town planning consultant in the submission of planning and other applications to ensure your interests are best served.
